Depending on how well you play, you will get placed in the rank. You need to get a total of 600 rank rating in order to move on to the next rank.
Radiant is the hardest rank to achieve as only the best of the best players are placed in it. Famous Radiant players are 100T Asuna, Tenz, Dapr, Wardell, and Sinatraa.
